Actron CP9125 Scanner Works Great.
This one is very basic OBDII code reader, it works on both Toyota Camry 95 and Honda minivan 2001 and save me time to go to Auto Zone. Can not reset check engine from this but not a big deal.

This great little gadget was put to use immediately and diagnosed properly the cause for our Check Engine light being on. It was an easy, DIY fix and we were off and running in no time. DH is quite pleased with this gift.

the pocketscan reader is an ideal tool for the at home DIY mechanic. although some parts stores offer a "free" code read, they immediately offfer the 90$ diagnostic service. with my own code reader, the included dvd, and the internet, i find i can save hundreds of $ by doing the work myself. it's much more convenient as well. you don't have to wait while the service "tech" has to pry himself away from the counter to read your codes which takes about a minute. literally. a great tool to have. thanks amazon!!! As advertised, reasonably priced, shipped quickly, easy to use. Helpful in understanding what 'could' be wrong with your vehicle, especially considering the complicated computerized numeric and alpha numeric messages used in todays sophisticated automobiles.

I purchased this to read codes on my 2004 GMC Yukon XL. Was able to quickly pull codes and determine the cause of my check engine light. In today's computer-controlled world, this product is great for letting you know if that trouble light is a serious problem or a small nuisance.
This recently saved me cancelling a planned vacation as I was able to pull the code and determine that the problem was a minor one that wouldn't prevent us from continuing on our trip. It is also great for keeping the mechanics honest. If you already know what codes are in the computer you'll also know if they try to pull a fast one on you and sell you repairs you don't need!!
If you're a pro, you probably aren't reading this review anyway, but this may not be the product for you. But if you are a shade-tree mechanic, or even if you don't know how to turn a wrench, this is a great value for a product that will give you the information you need.

Actron CP9125 PocketScan Great.
It saved us a trip to the mechanic just to find out why my "check engine soon" light came on. It turned out to be something simple that my husband fixed with one trip to the car part store and 15 minutes under the hood. Definitely worth the money.

had a recurring code on my chevy pickup.scanner code was air intake in manner.bought a 5.00 can of spray to clean mass air sensor and code is gone.doesnt get much easier than that.paid for itself in first use.

I have owned this tool now for about 5 years and I have had no problems. I've used several times to read codes and reset OBD2 equipped vehicles. Nice also to be able to use the web-site to get further diagnostics and repair information at a nominal fee. Would have been nice if the cord was at least twice as long; but not a big issue.

This code reader does exactly what it is advertised to do. As a former automobile mechanic (prior to computers) I can attest to the fact that the troubleshooting process is made much easier with this tool, and the price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend it.
